To expand on what Mynamerr said, the inability to trade on closed realms and the soulbounding of all items droped by players were drastic measures introduced by Deca to prevent some sort of duplication method. From what I’ve heard, these measures worked, but they do seem like temporary fixes rather than a solution to dupping. Mainly because, as many people will tell you, there’s no easy solution to duping.
