Tunnel Rat Fame Bonus

I just had a question regarding the Tunnel Rat fame bonus… do you guys know if we need to get the notification of “Quest Complete” in green over our character’s heads for it to count or do we just need to exit the dungeon through the realm portal for it to count?
There was a couple of dungeons that I was too far away from when the boss was killed (so that I didn’t get the quest complete notification) and it’s just a question I’ve been wondering for a while now…

I know that you have to leave the portal with this portal that spawns after boss is killed
But I dont know that you need this “Quest Complete”

Yes, just leaving through the realm portal is enough. Getting the “quest complete” text from the boss has nothing to do with tunnel rat. Keep in mind that the portal of cowardice does not count.
