"version loading error, retrying..."

I’m currently using a MacBook Pro (one with no dedicated GPU).
Everytime I open/load up realmofthemadgod.com it just says “version loading error, retrying…", help?
Or, why am I getting so much ping on the Flash Projector? Since if that would work, then I wouldn’t need to use realmofthemadgod.com.

Did you simply use realmofthemadgod.com and not realmofthemadgod.com/client ? I doubt the normal RotMG site would work, I’m 90% sure you need the /client at the back.

The “/client” one doesn’t work either, I used to play on realmofthemadgod.com with no “/client” and it was working.

The link given by @ArkRumierA won’t work as it’s a HTTP link it needs to be https, e.g.

https://realmofthemadgod.com/client

Alternately use the link I do, the direct link which always works for me (on a Mac):

https://www.realmofthemadgod.com/AssembleeGameClient1551431234.swf

This is from here: https://www.realmeye.com/wiki/using-the-adobe-flash-projector which is updated whenever that link changes

I’d love to use the Flash Projector but I get so much ping.

Flash Projector is normally faster for me, as it bypasses the sandboxing done by browsers like Safari. If you have a high ping in Projector it suggests a problem with your network connection to ROTMG’s servers. You could try another; in particular if you are in Europe or the US there are lots to choose from, with their names basing only a loose relationship to their geographic location.
