What are the best sets for each class?

Hi guys. I just started playing Realm again after roughly a 2 year break. I’ve noticed that there’s been a ton of new items added while I was gone, and I’ve also noticed that my sets are (slightly) outdated. Currently, what are the absolute best sets to have in the game for each class? I know I probably won’t be able to get them, but I want to set some goals while I’m here.

Theres alot of good combinations. I’m not no expert but I suggest just looking at what other people use if you want to set yourself some goals.

Example can be such as hovering over a White Stars name. Say he has an Archer with a TShot QoT T13 and a Ring of Decades. Looking at that, you can probably set yourself one of those items as a goal. Although Ring of Decades don’t drop anymore so UBHP is your best bet.

Sorry for not being too clear, but I mean absolute best sets - Shatters whites, LH whites, and ST items inclusive.

My opinions (note that wyrmhides can be replaced by csilk, and shatters rings can be replaced by omnipotence ring, and colo plate is plate of life from colo boss in LH.)

Wiz : T13/st spell/soulless/bracer or crown
Rogue : etherite/planewalker/wyrmhide/crown
Necro: t13/shaitan skull/Shendyt or soulless/bracer
Trickster: etherite/any prism/wyrmhide/crown
Mystic: t13/t6 or conflict or st/soulless/bracer
Sorc: cwand or recomp/fulmi or t6 or new scept/shendyt or soulless/bracer
Ninja: doku/midnight/wyrmhide/bracer
Knight : acclaim/ogmur/colo plate or resu/gem or crown
Warrior : acclaim/jugg/colo plate or dominion or fire armor/crown
Pally : acclaim/Oreo or gcookie/dominion/bracer
Priest: cwand or recomp/prot/shendyt/gem or bracer
Archer: dbow/qot and elvish/wyrmhide/crown or bracer
Huntress : dbow/ctrap/wyrmhide/crown or bracer

Omnipotence ring is literally a better Nile. Same stats and much more… Also extremely fucking rare so don’t get your hopes up.

There are no absolute best sets for every class. Once you play realm long enough, on each and every character, every player will develop opinions on what feels best for themselves to maximize the potential of that certain class that is tailored to the level of skill by the player.

For me personally, for all my ‘dream-endgame-sets’, it must have; at least 700hp (by 8/8 stats), and at least a total of 40 def.

But in a serious manner; make your own set. Just keep in mind that
T13 does not equal the best
T6 abilities are the best tiered abilities
Generally, only the ST weapons are good (with a few exceptions, such as soulless and shendyt)
the ST rings mostly suck (except for almandine)
The UT stuff is mostly* niche
T11/T12 weapons/armor is the sweet spot (this is only if you are poor like me xD)

With this in mind,
For any melee, I would have either ASS+Pixie or T13 sword+Csword+Dblade (I prefer the former)
A Jugg+GGen for the warrior, T6 Colossus for the knight (and ogmur if you wish), and Marble Seal + T6 seal (Oreo is 2niche4me)
For armors, FBDA for warrior, Resu/FBDA/Dominion/Fplate for knight, and Definitely Dominion for Paladin.

For robe classes:
T13 staff+Soulless/T14 Robe/Shendyt will work for most staff classes
T13 Wand+Wand of the Fallen+CWand+Soulless/T14 robe/Shendyt for most wand classes
Wizards will like the use of the ST Pierce spell as well as the T6 spell
Priests are well suited with the T5/T6 tome+Geb Tome/Puri+Prot
Necromancers, well, can literally use any ability they’d like seeing as how it does miniscule damage anyway (even with the new ST skull)
Mystics will do well with conflict/st orb/T6 orb
Sorcs will do well with T6/fulmi/parasite scepter

For leather classes I cannot recommend, because I hate most leather classes.

*Dbow is most necessary for the archer/huntress

I’m no expert at sets, but I’ll try Wizard, Necromancer, and Archer, starting with wizard.

WIZARD

Weapon: Cosmic Whole, or if you do lots of Lost Halls, Vital Unity, or if you want extreme damage, Edictum Praetoris.
Swapouts: Extreme Prejudice, Staff of the Crystal Serpent (because of range.)

Spell: T6 Spell.
Swapouts: Recurring Terror spell, T0 spell (To spam) and if you can afford to lose the space then Ancient Spell: Pierce.

Robe: Robe of the Mad Scientist.
Swapouts: IDK, maybe Toga Picta or Water Dragon Silk Robe.

Ring: Bracer
Swapouts: Onmipotence Ring.

ARCHER

Weapon: Thousand Shot
Swapouts: Doom bow (Or if your really fancy, then Morning Star) and Coral Bow.

Quiver: T6 quiver
Swapouts: T0 or T3 (T0 to spam, T3 to spam, only it has paralyze) and Quiver of Thunder.

Armor: Griffon Hide Armor.
Swapouts: Coral Silk Armor.

Ring: Bracer
Swapouts: Unbound Attack (for insane power if paired with Doom Bow.)

NECROMANCER

Pretty obvious, the Hallow Necromancer Set.

But I’ll give some swapouts.

Weapon Swapouts: Vital Unity, Crystal Serpent

Robe Swapouts: Robe of the Mad Scientist.

Skull Swapouts: T6 Skull

Ring Swapouts: Bracer.

Edit: NO! How how could I forget the Ancient Spell: Pierce???

Thanks to everyone who replied. I know it’s a tough question to ask, especially on a game where many of the “best” items have niche uses and where the items one picks largely depend on the person’s playing style. I agree with the people saying that there are no absolute best sets in the game - if someone hates Oreo, they won’t consider it as an absolute best item. But I thank everyone for their insights into this question!
