@DrNothing it’s possible to have a maxed stat upon maxing because of how stats are actually increased per level. If you were to roll the highest possible stat every time (for example, Warrior gets 20 to 30 HP per level up. If he were to get 30 HP every level to level 20 (that’s 19 times) then he’d be maxed Life at level 20 (because the average of 20 and 30 is 25, the difference is 5, multiply that by 19 level-ups and that’s the 95 HP that you have to gain on a Warrior with average HP at level 20 to max.)

So, I’m not quite sure how probability works up and down since I’m stupid, but since the entire range maxed to average and average to minimum is 95, is the probability of rolling 1/(95^2) or 1/190 or something? Anyways, then you’d have something like 6/(probabilities multiplied for each stat) for the probability that you’d had an 8/8 on maxing. So, not good.

But in any case, the term “rolling a maxed char” usually refers to feeding pots to a class before level 20 and having it to supplement the stats rolled at level 20.

I know the explanation’s long, and probably mathematically wrong, but I think the reasoning’s sound? … But I hope it helped!

#14

Okay, fair point :stuck_out_tongue:

#15

Are you sure it’s impossible?

#16

Realm has everything sooo, check each characters. It will severely help you on how much hp, mp, etc. And due to the hp of your characters, getting 25+ hp is way better, even though it is between 20-30+ hp each lvl.

Yes, you cant roll an att of over 50 on warrior

#19

You didn’t give the figures for Maxing HP/MP!

Let’s go with knight.
https://www.realmeye.com/wiki/knight
Initial hp = 200
Max gain per level up = 30
Number of level ups = 19 (20-1 since you start at one)
HP Cap = 770
First we see if it’s possible
200+3019=770
so yes
If you roll an increase of 30 every time you level up you will get a max hp knight.
What is the chance of getting it?
Chance of getting 30 = 1/11 (since the range is from 20 to 30)
number of level ups = 19
in order to get max hp you need to roll 19 1/11 chances in a row, so the equation is:
Chance of max hp=(1/11)
(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)(1/11)*(1/11)
Or short form.
Chance=(1/11)^19

So the odds of getting a max hp knight upon level 20 is 1 in 61,159,090,448,414,546,291.
#1 in 61 quintillion
Good luck.
That’s like getting a white bag in a white bag in a white bag in a white bag in a white bag in a white bag in a white bag in a white bag in a white bag in a white bag.

I love +25 def rolls, always keep a character if I get one.

#21

[Ummm…dude. That whole thread was about maxing HP/MP. OB]

#22

You can roll a 20-30 when you level up in health
therefore I think the chances are
1/11 to the 19th power.
1/6.115909e+19
which is
1/61159090000000000000, about 61 times your estimation

[Why are people redoing work I’ve already done? DO YOU DOUBT ME?!? OB]

#24

Sorry OB-sama

#25

OK I don’t know what other people mean by it, but in my experience this is rolliing a maxed char. You look at your class’ average roll. Drink enough pots at level 1 that by the time you are level 20, you would be 8/8, if you got an exactly average roll. Level up. Now look at how many stats are maxed. That tells you how good your roll was.

#26

You are correct, my bad.
