What's up with black tile lag nowadays

Literally everybody in US East got stuck in black tiles of the middle section of Wine Cellar and then when it cleared the 8/8 leading the charge got instagibbed by O2 spawns. Is it just USE problems generally? Sorry for no screenshot .
