Did you ever see a gen 6 VGC match?
Every team would have Aegislash + Mega Kanga.
It was THAT broken.
They gave it a 17% damage nerf (1 + .5 to 1 + .25 ) but it’s still broken.
Parental bond = best ability imo (except wonder guard).

ok huge + Pure power maybe, but I think PB would be better on a mon with power up punch.
Arena trap + Shadow tag aren’t allowed in competitive play, just like PB (rip dugtrio) (or OU at least)
Fur coat - I mean if CHANSEY had it…
Imposter - Really only good for mons with good hp stats
Protean - ehhhhhhh I really dont see why protean is good. Sure every move gets STAB, but like… eh… not really OP.

protean is crazy. not only do you get stab on every move, you get a degree of unpredictability that allows you to basically change matchups at will. if only better mons got it than garbage gren and kecleon…

that is true, but when you get mons with high hp stats and give it imposter, that’s when it gets retarded
the pp for moves resets every single fucking time you switch, making it anti-balance and anti-stall
scarf is the bane of all hyper-offense
while bulky offense fares much better against imposter, it’s still incredibly annoying

are we talking theoretical or practical xd

Only on fast mons with priority yeah…
but you give up whatever typing you had before
Ex: If Swampert or gastrodon had protean their niche as a 1 weakness tank would be ruined.
It would really only work with offensive mons with a good movepool.

But if you had a mon with ok speed like, idk, GRENINJA you can play amazing mind games with your enemy

I like this with keckleon, since it gets sucker punch, fake out, power up punch, drain punch, etc (priority moves)

it has the most bland movepool of any mon in ou besides like tangrowth smh
if you’re going to play mindgames, best not use gren since it gets 2hko’d by basically anything neutral, and its coverage only affords it a few true resistances

i mean we’re talking about the potential an ability can reach, so if you were to get an offensive mon with a good movepool…
