Why do dye removers cost gold?

#1

Probably in some patch notes, but I just got back to playing

But why do these cost gold now?

[Edit: moved this out of Trivial Issues into its own topic - Nevov]

At first they cost fame but didn’t work or something, so they were taken out of the game.

Then when the problem got fixed, it got put back in but costing gold. (I think that’s what happened)

#3

But wai? Stuff that don’t work can cost fame, but when they work, they cost gold?

#4

I don’t know, but usually when you would want a new cloth/dye on your character you can just use it over the current one.

Maybe I’m remembering wrong

#5

They cost fame in the testing server

#6

Doesn’t everything do in testing?

Didn’t try yet

#7

Only the dye removers

#8

So they’re gonna fix it?

#9

Probably

#10

They now cost fame on the testing server, so they might be reverted back to fame

#11

I always thought the dye remover should just be a think you visit for free

#14

How much it cost?

#15

Judging by the shards event this time Deca just got Mike Sellers in for a little consultancy work…

#16

What are even the point of dye removers

#17

Money

#18

When you choose a new skin for your character the dyes are retained which isn’t always ideal. Sometimes they look almost as bad as the Valentine’s set from the letters quest.

#19

This is why you put a new cloth over it.
My priest accidentally took the puppet large cloth on over my other cloth (that piece of sh*t) so i immediately went to my vault and put on a new cloth.

#20

Because DECA wants money.
