i pretty much hate pokemon (no judge plz), so yes.

With infinite gold, the entire Nexus is my vault! If I die, I can simply buy replacement tops. If I want to max, I can simply buy tops and sell them. If I want an op pet, I can simply buy enough Ambrosias. If I want to run a specific dungeon, I’ll just buy as many keys as I want.

You can never have gold, but you will have all character slots and vaults unlocked. Will you press the button?

As much as I’d like the second outcome, the first outcome is almost the polar opposite in desirability, so they outweigh each other, in a sense. Despite 50% being greater than 49%, the difference is not significant enough to justify taking the risk.

You can get any of Apple’s products for free forever (you can’t sell them, own duplicates, etc.), but can never own or use another brand’s phones or computers ever again. Will you press the button?
