Notes
A strange ring that provides a small amount of every stat bonus, exactly half of the Omnipotence Ring. While it might be alright if obtained early, the stats aren’t great. Players are advised to equip a ring that focuses on a specific stat, like an HP ring.
History
This item was introduced in October 2012 to combat the mass duplication of Amulets of Resurrection that began during the summer of year, resulting in an influx of cheap amulets into the ingame economy. Many players who could now afford the once-expensive amulets essentially had characters that lived indefinitely.
As of build 4.0.0, the Amulet of Resurrection’s name was changed to Cursed Amulet of Resurrection. It became soulbound and you could buy it in Nexus for 1,000 fame, but there was a small chance that it would not work and you would be “zombified” (killing your character).
As of build 4.3.0, The Cursed Amulet’s chance to help you cheat death was evidently
decreased, rough estimates suggest a resurrection chance of below 40%.
As of build 5.0.0, Cursed Amulets had a 100% zombification chance and dropped from the boss in the dungeon “Haunted Cemetery.”
As of Release 27.7.6, due to abuse of the item, it became impossible to obtain one and keep it. Immediately after entering a realm portal or nexusing, any Cursed Amulets of Zombification in one’s inventory disappeared.
As of Patch 27.7.X7 (Oct 2016), the item was re-released as the Amulet of Dispersion, which had no other special effects.
Before Exalt Version 2.0.0.0 (Aug 2021), this item was soulbound.
Before Exalt Version 3.3.5.0 (Mar 2023), this item gave 30 HP, 30 MP, 1 ATT, 1 DEF, 1 SPD, 1 DEX, 1 VIT, and 1 WIS
