Notes
The Candy-Coated Armor (CC) has the highest defense out of any heavy armor in the game (and is tied with the Armor of Nil for the highest DEF boost out of all the armors). In return, it reduces its wearer’s DEX by 5, compromising their total damage output in a non-negligible manner.
It can be a good, early-to-mid-game armor on most heavy classes. It is arguably most suitable for use by the Warrior, who appreciates the ability to approach enemies easier. Conversely, Knights might not benefit as much from the extra DEF boost, due to typically already having plenty to spare. As of the release of Vital Combat, this armor can now also fill the niche of remaining out of combat under certain circumstances.
This item is generally outclassed by the best tiered armor. In comparison to the T15 Annihilation Armor, the Candy-Coated Armor only gives +2 DEF in exchange for the -5 DEX penalty.
This armor boasts 1,000 Feed Power, is tradable, and can be forged for the relatively modest cost of 45 , 90
, and 400
. As such, this item is often desirable for satisfying pet feeding needs, and may be crafted and sold accordingly, provided that one can afford and does not mind the forging cost.
