The Almandine Armor of Anger and Frost Citadel Armor are re-skins of this armor.
This armor used to only drop from Oryx the Mad God 2, and there were few good alternatives for a melee class to wear, making it highly sought after. Now, it is now much easier to obtain (via Lost Halls, Lair of Draconis, The Shatters, epic dungeons, etc), and there are several viable untiered alternatives, as well as the higher tiered Dominion Armor. This, along with other factors reducing replacement item demand, has led to a significant reduction in its tradeable value over time, as with many other items.
