History
In Patch 27.7.X12.1 (Mar 2017), the item and its projectile were changed to match Deca colors (purple, black, white). Previously, its sprite and projectile were the same as for the Short Sword.
Among many other items, this item was spawned in and passed around with cheats. It was removed from the game along with all other illegitimate, unreleased items.
Interestingly, the 150% Rate of Fire was added only after it was brought back into the game.
