Behavior

The Agonized Titan is found in a square room within the Lost Halls, completely dormant and invulnerable. A locked portal to the Cultist Hideout is found behind it.

To activate the Titan, players must locate 5 small pink flames within special rooms in the Dungeon identified by a large number of Treasure Pots. Each of these rooms will have 1 of the flames, and a number of Evil Spirits that will attack players. These flames are passive and follow the nearest player. 5 of these Flames must be dragged to the Agonized Titan’s room, where they will begin circling it. Note that after the first flame is placed in the room, red dots will highlight the location of the other 4 flames. After 5 are placed there, the Titan will absorb them and attack.

During combat, the Titan fires fast rings of various shots, a number of them doing no damage and inflicting various status effects. The grey Colossal Bullets on the other hand inflict heavy damage but no effects.

When destroyed, the portal to the Cultist Hideout will unlock and players can enter.

Tips and Strategies

Tracking down and dragging the flames is a tedious process. The flames will often switch who they are following, and trolls will sometimes lead them away from the Titan’s room. As such, it is advised to have some level of coordination before attempting this boss.

The Agonized Titan himself is not that much of a threat. Do not mistake him for harmless however: his shots hurt and are somewhat hard to avoid in the small room. However, he has rather low HP and only 1 damaging attack, so he usually melts in seconds.

Note that while you can fight the Agonized Titan before the Marble Colossus, you cannot do it the other way around as the Marble Colossus’ room seals after it is activated.
