The Aquamarine Amulet is fairly common, especially if clearing an Ancient Ruins, due to it dropping from Ancient Monoliths and Sand Elementals. It functions as a decent survival ring, and is useful for newer players who do not yet have a more servicable ring, such as a Ring of the Pyramid or an Experimental Ring. Compared to the Experimental Ring, it offers 10 less HP and no MP, but 1 additional Defense and Vitality.

Also due to its fairly common drop rate, it can also be used as a reasonable source of Feed for Common and Uncommon pets.

Trivia
The item description references the Genie treasure room miniboss in the Ancient Ruins and is the final part of the “treasure hunter” story told through the item descriptions of this set.
