Why & How to find the Battle for the Nexus
Why
These weapons are named after by the Kabam team. They are items made only for the fun and joy of obtaining it, these weapons aren’t meant to be used for high dps. They may also become valuable in the future.
How
- After an incident where a hacker (swatsec) managed to spawn Oryx 2s in the nexus (which killed many players who logged into nexus), Kabam created this dungeon as an apology to the players. The key to the dungeon was buyable in the nexus for a short time after the incident for a low amount of fame. (20 fame)
Navigating through the dungeon
This dungeon is a simple layout, 3 rooms, 2 of them are wings, one main room. and outside Oryx will spawn at the end. The first room you may fight either Lord Ruthven or Murderous Megamoth. Either way, you will need many players to defeat these. Next Stheno or Archdemon Malphas. After that you will either face the Golden Oryx Effigy or Limoz the Verdian Dragon. Finally, Oryx comes. Be aware, he is not easy and will kill lots of your friends and allies.
Note that if the 2nd boss is killed too fast, the dungeon will glitch and the other bosses will not spawn. Be aware of that or you might ruin this rare dungeon.
Minions
- The minions of this dungeon are the exact same minions you encounter when fighting the other dungeon bosses of the realm (Eg. Archdemon Malphas Deux also has Malphas Protectors, just like the original Malphas. Murderous Megamoth also has the feared larvae.)
The Bosses
Lord Ruthven Deux
- Just the same as the Lord Ruthven in the Manor Of The Immortals, only that this time he has higher health and less bats spawn. This boss should be easy to kill, just do what you always do in the manor. He spawns in the left wing of the nexus.
Murderous Megamoth Deux
- If you happen to get this boss(left wing of nexus), just tell yourself its going to be risky to do this one. This is exactly the same boss as the one in Woodland Labyrinth, nothing changes, just that you have a seemingly smaller space to battle it. However just circle around the room and you will finish this in no time.
Stheno the Snake Queen Deux
- She spawns in the right wing of the nexus and she basically has higher health than the Stheno in the Snake Pit. This may be a tedious and long battle, but at least it is easy. Another thing that changes if the fact that the minions don’t circle her, but just move around randomly.
Archdemon Malphas Deux
- He spawns in the right wing of the nexus. This is generally a very easy boss to solo, because there isn’t any lava and there are no white demons.
Golden Oryx Effigy Deux
- Spawns in the middle room of the nexus. He is just like the Golden Oryx Effigy in the Cave Of A thousand Treasures. Not too difficult unless you have low defense.
Limoz the Veridian Dragon Deux
- Also spawns in the middle room of the nexus. He is a green dragon that came from the Lair Of Draconis. Need more info.
- It’s sicken bullets only sicken you for les than .5 seconds
- Is not immune to paralyze, unlike the actual Limoz
Oryx the Mad God Deux
- Great! Suddenly the wall at the top of the nexus breaks and Oryx steps in, he will not allow getting defeated by you puny heroes when he already has come this far to conquering the nexus! He, just like he is in his Wine Cellar, has pretty much the same health and the same 3900-dmg shotgun of death along with the annoying henchmen. Beware though, it is very easy to accidentally get cornered during his rage phase, reason being that some people drag him to the left or right wing of the nexus and get cornered.
Side Note(s)
- Bring a large group to make this dungeon easy. Remember though, this dungeon isn’t a piece of cake. Good luck and have fun!
