Black Bats remain idle until a player comes within their wide detection range. Once spotting a player, they rapidly dash to their detected position and will attack if a player is in reach. They continue to dash periodically attempting to stay on top of or just next to a player so they can attack with impunity.
The Black Bat spawns in groups of 2-20
Black Bats are of negligable threat alone or in small groups. Their attack is of extremely short range making it harmless to even melees.
They serve to teach newer players the behavior of bat-type foes, however they are very dangerous if you have 0 DEF, stand still, and get swarmed by dozens of them.
