Notes

The Burial Blades hit as hard as the T12 Tachis with the added effect of armor piercing. It beats the Kusanagi at low defenses, Enforcer at medium defenses (before buffs), though is always weaker than Valor without its debuff.

It is worth noting that the Burial Blades are affected by a similar anomaly in the code to Superior. Firing an uneven number of shots (In this case, easily affected by abilities such as the Ninja’s Shuriken) will change their shot pattern.

This may be disadvantageous, considering the rapidly changing nature of the weapon’s converging shots midway, but said disadvantage may be mitigated to some degree by equipping abilities or weapons that fire an even number of shots such as the Rage Claws

Below is an example of the anomaly at work:

History
Before Exalt Version 3.3.5.0 (Mar 2023), this item used to have an different fire pattern, which alternated between a wide and tight pattern. It can be seen here.

Trivia
This weapon references Phaedra (green) and Valus (black), the two cultists who were killed upon the awakening of the Marble Colossus. It fires another shot reflecting this:
