Notes:
Although this dagger has a relatively poor DPS for its level, it inflicts significant Bleed buildup. It also builds up dexterity as it fires, which helps offset the naturally low RoF. Bleed comprises most of this weapon’s power, so it is advised to use other DEX-boosting gear to maximize it.
The Chain Dagger is a good swapout weapon. You can swap to this dagger, gain a DEX boost, and swap back. In addition, Bleeding can be stacked on a boss while it is invulnerable in order to get a bit of extra damage when it becomes vulnerable again (while gaining the DEX boost, too).
In terms of “primary weapon” DPS, it is especially poor in groups, since Bleeding does not benefit from Damaging or Curse. In addition, there is a cap on Bleeding; with multiple players, damage can be wasted. It is also unimpressive in solo play, weaker than the T12 Dagger of Foul Malevolence at all sane DEF levels (on a WC tops Assassin).
