Notes:
Although this dagger suffers from lower damage and fire rate compared to other options, it inflicts significant Bleed buildup on hit and can build up DEX as it fires, which helps offset its RoF penalty. The consistent Bleed damage will make up the bulk of this weapon’s power, so it is advised to use it with DEX-boosting gear to maximize the buildup of Bleeding over the raw damage dealt.
Because Bleeding ignores DEF and invulnerability, the Chain Dagger may see use on bosses with heavy armor or those that frequently go invulnerable. The former trait is especially useful to offset the dagger’s low base damage and emphasis on attack speed over ATT. On bosses with more standard DEF but lengthy, predictable invulnerability patterns, bleed can be stacked while the boss is invulnerable, and then another dagger can be switched to upon the boss losing invulnerability to take advantage of both the bleed damage and the residual DEX boost while dealing more damage per shot.
