The Crystal Cavern is the second part of the Abandoned Mineshaft, and is only accessible upon defeated the boss of the Fungal Cavern. It is recommended to check out the guide for that dungeon before this one in order to have more knowledge of how to get to this dungeon in the first place.
The portal to the Crystal Cavern is only dropped upon the defeat of the Crystal Worm Mother, the boss of the Fungal Cavern, meaning you can only get to this dungeon by first completing the other one. Click here for a guide on how to beat that boss.

Completing the Crystal Cavern on an 8/8 maxed stat character gives you an Exaltation in Wisdom, and the preceeding Fungal Cavern gives Wisdom. The caverns are the only ways to get this permanent stat boost. This is the main reason that both caverns are run nowadays.
The coveted Ring of Decades (Deca) gives a whopping +190 HP, but don’t expect it to be common; Decas are especially rare drops from the Cavern Crystals in both dungeons. Due to its rarity, it is also a very valuable trading item.
Similarly to the Fungal Cavern, the Crystal Cavern also drops many UT’s, much more than the previous cavern.
The boss can drop the weapon, armor, and accessory pieces of the Crystal Kunoichi Set for the Ninja class, with the ability piece dropping from the boss of the Fungal Cavern. The Quartz Cutter is weak and has short range, although it does gain a significant boost in DPS when worn with the full set. The Luminous Armor is more useful however, as it gives a whopping +200 HP, along with +5 SPD and +5 VIT, which greatly increases survivability, but has no DEF. Finally, the Radiant Heart gives a small amount of HP and ATT. While some UT rings do give better HP and DPS stats, the ring is needed to complete the full set, which does actually give decent defensive and offensive stats.
Similarly to the Fungal Cavern, the Crystal Cavern boss has a chance of dropping various T14 armors, which are quite valuable pieces of endgame equipment.
Also similarly to the Fungal Cavern, the Crystal Cavern is a great source of various Greater Potions and Potions of Life. While not a main reason to do this dungeon, it’s still worthwhile to get them, as they drop in abundance from the boss.
The Crystal Cavern’s layout is similar to the Fungal Cavern’s; massive map, various large rooms with wooden platforms and minecarts with Crystals, and small hallways connecting them all. The dungeon also has the same mechanic of clearing crystals to power the drill in order to get to the boss. However, when the boss does activate, even if you aren’t in the boss room itself and are simply a few rooms away, you will be teleported to the boss room, which is nice if people can’t make it to the boss room in time.
WIP
The enemies here are sorted based by creature type rather than by color, although that too still determines their attacks and effects.
WIP
The boss of the dungeon, the Crystal Entity, has many crystal based attacks. The fight mainly consists of micrododging and telegraphs.
WIP
Throughout the fight, the Crystal Entity will spawn various Crystal Guardians in between phases. The first two minibosses spawned are each randomly chosen from pairs with the exception of the third and final Crystal Guardian, which is always the same.
The Crystal Cavern, likewise to the Fungal Cavern, is an amazing source of powerful situation UT’s, a highly offensive ST set for the Ninja, various Greater Potions and Potions of Life, and more chances at the highly valuable Ring of Decades, which can lead to great wealth and power.
