The Crystallised Lizard is a miniboss found in the Crystal Cavern. It is one of two minibosses that can spawn on the first wave.

After spawning in the middle, the Lizard will move to one of the 5 corners of the boss room and dash to its following location. After moving, it will create two lines of Crystal Walls along the edge of the location while firing 5-shot shotguns toward the Crystal Entity (not the closest player). After a short delay, the Crystal Walls will explode into a massive storm of crystal shots. Contact with the Crystal Walls also deals significant damage and will almost always result in death.

It can be safespotted, but be careful if you are not familiar with the location. Standing too close will make you take extreme damage and standing too far makes you more vulnerable to the Crystal Entity, but it is always safer to stand further back. If there is a fractal shot in your direction, it is better to run through the Crystal Walls’ shots rather than the fractal’s, or nexus if it seems too dangerous.

Before Exalt Version 1.5.0.0 (May 2021), this enemy always started at the top and started its cycle in the bottom right, spawned blue crystal walls which shot blue shots and had no central shotgun.
