Behavior

These appear in vats that have been turned green by destroying the S.W.I.T.C.H. within them. They are initially invincible, firing aimed bursts of wavy blue shots that pierce armor.

If the switch in that vat is destroyed, they will despawn as the vat is closed.

During the penultimate phase of the fight, the tentacles will gather around the boss to protect it, becoming vulnerable and allowing players to shoot them. One tentacle will appear per vat closed. Tentacles in still-opened green vats will stop their previous pattern and start firing streams of harmless but Slowing purple bolts, which form a web in a pattern shaped like a diamond within a square. If a vat is closed in this phase, the tentacle within will join the boss in the center vat. Center tentacles will not attack.

If the boss is pushed into its final phase, all center tentacles will disappear, but all tentacles along the edges will continue firing.
