The Great Coil Snake is a mid-level Quest Monster that spawn in ruin setpieces in the realm. It is guaranteed to drop a portal to the Forbidden Jungle.

Great Coil Snakes slowly move towards players while firing Snake Shots. Additionally, it will be spawning Great Snake Eggs around itself, and will do so if a player is nearby even if it cannot fire at them.
Periodically, the Great Coil Snake will fire a radial burst of Ghost Shots.

Great Coil Snakes can be found by searching the Midlands road, but can appear in many areas.
Great Coil Snakes are NOT required to close the realm.
Great Coil Snakes possess two attacks that can be dangerous if you don’t dodge him. The first is a directed stream of Snake Shots that can deal damage quickly, but are easily avoided by circling.
The second is a radial blast of Ghost Shots that deal less damage individually, but can stack up to deal hefty damage if you sit on the snake. Worse yet, their radial firing pattern makes circling more difficult.
Ranged characters can dispatch this snake easily, others will need to get closer and risk taking damage.
Do not neglect the eggs it spawns, they will hatch into Great Temple Snakes if left alone too long!
