|A scepter that can be evoked to unleash overwhelmingly powerful blasts upon others. Even the most crazed scientists wouldn’t use this scepter without taking note of its side effects.|
|On Equip||+4 SPD|
|Effect(s)||On self: Inflicts Hexed for 1 second; Stunned for 1 second|
|Targets||3 (+1 for every 13 WIS over 50)|
|Shockblast||1 (+1 for every 10 SPD over 60) targets|
|Shockblast Triggers||2 times|
|Shockblast Damage||over 3.0 squares|
While a bit MP-hungry in comparison to the Scepter of Storms, this one deals crazy amounts of damage and outclasses the Scepter of Devastation regarding the number of targets, even though damage dealt per subsequent target is lowered the quickest out of every scepter.
The Grotesque Scepter outdamages the Scepter of Devastation up to 78 WIS (at least against the first target), which makes Grotesque Scepter more favorable on Sorcerer builds that don’t place much emphasis on high WIS.
The temporary Stun might be a bit of a problem as it cancels out one second of firepower, which can be detrimental especially if a large party is shotgunning the boss at an extremely dramatic rate, negating any chance to compete for Soulbound.
Regardless, this scepter can tentatively be used as a main scepter. In the right hands, it will be immensely powerful.
Before Patch X.33.1.0 (May 2020), this item had a Feed Power of 500.
