Behavior

The Haunting Spectre has two phases, invulnerable and vulnerable. It has a noticable delay after going invulnerable and can normally be killed before it goes invulnerable a second time.
During the invulnerable phase the Spectre turns transparent, moves randomly, cannot be damaged, and it does not shoot bullets.
Immediately upon switching phases, the Spectre fires 3 bullets in a cone. It fires 1 more barrage, then another just before switching phases again. If it detects a player in a certain range, it backs away in an attempt to stay out of range. When nobody is in range, it stays still until switching phases.

Tips and Strategies

  • When vulnerable, the Spectre will stand still if you stay out of its detection range. This makes it very easy for ranged classes to kill it.
