Notes
Part of the Dragon Tamer set.
This weapon boasts the second highest damage per shot in the game (behind the Void Blade)
As of now, this is the only sword that can pierce enemies.
Despite the ridiculous damage per shot and piercing ability, its terrible fire rate means its DPS would average at 152 if it had 100% RoF. Like other slow-firing weapons like the Doom Bow and the A.S.S., it is particularly effective on enemies with high defense.
However, this is still a very situational sword due to it’s slow rate of fire and the sacrifice of 10 DEF. For example it would be good on Knight in Abyss due to the pierce and Knight’s high DEF stat making up for the 10 DEF you lose. The accompanying ST helm also has the potential to make this sword shine by paralyzing enemies and lining them up to cut down, as well as giving you 10+ def to make up for the -10 def you lose for having this sword equiped.
When the entire Dragon Tamer set is equipped, the weapon projectile changes to:
Trivia:
“Indomptable” is the French word for “indomitable” (pronounced “on-doom-tawb-le”).
