Notes:
This shield provides no innate DEF bonus, relatively low damage despite its armor-piercing shots, and 0.5 less seconds of Stun. In exchange, it grants a significant DEF buff to you and the group, analagous to the Marble Seal. For robe classes, the +15 DEF is approximately equal to Armored, and it stacks with Armored. It also gives some SPD and VIT on equip.
When the user is inflicted by Slowed, Confused, or Paralysis, the Cower Shield will fire an additional 5 shots. This significantly increases its damage and makes it easier to land the Stun. Although this is unreliable as a main damage option, it can help escape from enemies in a pinch.
History
Prior to Exalt Version 3.3.5.0 (Mar 2023), this item granted +15 SPD and DEF to self on ability use and MP Cost was 100.
