Lair Spectral Skeleton

Last updated: Exalt Version 1.3.1.0 (Jan 2021)
Lair Spectral Skeleton

The Lair Spectral Skeleton is a miniboss located in the Treasure Room of the Undead Lair. It will appear once an object in the middle of the room is attacked.

The Realm Eye says:
The Spectral Skeleton of the Undead Lair is a curious case, seeming to defy all current understanding of undead creatures and the very concept of the afterlife.
By somehow being both a skeleton and a ghost simultaneously, he has achieved an extremely rare form of double undead status.
This esteemed position grants him great privileges among his undead peers, but left even the greatest scholars of this library scratching their heads.

Behavior

Remains stationary while firing large, diamond-shaped walls of projectiles, alternating between a pattern with horizontal and vertical gaps, and diagonal gaps. While it is doing this, it will frequently throw a white AoE bomb at the nearest player.

When on half health, it will briefly turn invulnerable before continuing its pattern with greater frequency.

Tips and Strategies

Despite its relatively high damage, the pattern is quite simple. Keep circling while attacking from a distance if possible. Try to play around the entrance to the room so you can safely back off should you get overwhelmed.
