Longbows are a subtype weapon used by bow-wielding classes: Archers, Huntresses and Bards.
Longbows are more accurate as you get further away, as their shots start offset but converge as they travel. Compared to regular bows, a longbow of the same tier has better DPS at low defense and maintain that at max range.
Tiered longbows all fire 3 shots, have a range of 7.04, use burst firing, and unlike normal bows, do not pierce. Each shot has a different intra-burst firerate, at 92%, 96%, 100%, causing a slight desync until burst cooldown kicks in.
They fire 4 volleys, or 12 shots, per burst. The burst itself has a delay of roughly (135-DEX)/75 seconds, or a bursts per second of 75/(135-DEX). If DEX is low enough, continuous slow fire will be maintained, as not enough shots are fired to trigger a cooldown.
