Notes
Part of the Agents of Oryx Abilities.
This “Quiver” deals extremely high damage that is only exceeded by the Quiver of the Shadows and Quiver of Shrieking Specters. But unlike those two, which require the player to be very close to a foe to deal maximum damage, the Javelin can deal its full damage from very far away. It pays for this with the highest MP cost of any quiver, along with a 3 second cooldown, meaning that every shot with this ability counts. The single shot also makes aiming somewhat difficult, although it has a higher projectile speed than other Quivers to mitigate this.
It’s also worth noting that it gives a huge +10 ATT just by equipping it, while giving an additional +5 for 2 seconds on use (which can increase to +15 if you get lucky) - combined with Archer’s 75 base ATT and some damage boosting gear, it works wonders for increasing damage output. Although it slightly lowers DEX, this can often be ignored, or mitigated with fast-firing weapons.
History
Before Exalt Version 3.3.5.0 (Mar 2023), this item dealt 800-1300 damage.
