Many squares and cubes present in the Third Dimension fight fire with fire, taking on the forms of those who have invaded their world in the past. The transformations of Masquareraders, on the other hand, are inspired by various creatures present within the realm itself. |

The Masquarerader is a secret boss that can be found on a platform within the Third Dimension. It will initially start off as a plain white square when attacked, but will pick one out of a 7 possible forms to fight with when the battle begins.
The Masquarerader takes on the form of a purple humanoid and spawns a Cubic Satellite that attacks with single purple shots. The boss itself will wander erratically, before pausing to release a diamond-shape burst of boomerang spears.
The Masquarerader takes on the form of a purple crowned entity and summons a Cubic Soldier that will instantly respawn if killed. The boss itself will alternate between a spray of AoE bombs, and 2-way shotguns of pink squares.
The Masquarerader takes on the form of a cluster of red cubes. It chases players, maintaining a short distance between them while alternating between vaguely aimed Armor Breaking squares and a sporadic radial barrage of red dots.
The Masquarerader takes on the form of a green staff-wielding humanoid, chasing players with rapid aimed spreads of green squares and single aimed green bolts.
The Masquarerader takes on the form of a pink staff-wielding entity and summons a Cubic Cleric. The boss will attack with shotguns of boomerang bullets, adding in 4-way boomerang attacks when its form is brought to half HP.
The Masquarerader takes on the form of two stacked light blue cubes. It begins firing massive 3-way shotguns of bullets, along with single shots in the gaps matching the previous color. Upon taking enough damage, it falls on its side and starts chasing players with the same shotguns.
The Masquarerader takes on the form of a sprite, firing a 2-armed spiral of blue shots.
At roughly 50% HP, the Masquarerader chooses another form to transform into before resuming the battle. Depending on which form it took in the first half of the fight, its attack pattern will be slightly modified with both aimed and multi-directional shots from the first phase.
This section needs more detail on how the attacks are incorporated
When the Masquarerader dies, all active minions will despawn.
Spawns:
Cubic Soldier
Cubic Cleric
Cubic Satellite
TBA
The Masquarerade appears to mimic the attack patterns of existing Treasure Room bosses.
