The Megamad Brute is the first boss that spawns from the Megamad Oryx Statue, and activates a few seconds later. It follows several distinct phases.
The Brute fires 4-directional streams of Small Mossy Lines and wide spreads of Small Mossy Vs that inflict Pet Stasis. It also fires 3-round spreads of Big Mossy Stone Bolts that deal huge damage. It will periodically spawn Megamad Warriors of Oryx to assist it.
From time to time, the Brute will rush straight towards the nearest player. Other than that, it does not move.
After a bit, it will change to phase 2.
Taunt: “You can’t harm me while my warriors are protecting me!”
The Brute spawns several Warriors far away from it and becomes inactive. He is invulnerable until the Warriors are killed.
After the Warriors are killed, he spawns a ring of Alpha Arcane Fighters, variants of his Warriors that fire beams at each other to form a ring-like cage of shots. He will slowly advance towards the nearest player, firing streams of Armor Breaking shots. The Alpha Arcane Fighters will tighten the ring, making it hard for players to move around. Afterwards, the Brute becomes vulnerable and fires radial bursts of shots.
If not killed fast enough, he despawns the Alpha Arcane Fighters and transitions back to Phase 1.

Keep your distance from him, especially during his last phase. Get Armor Broken and get hit by his giant shotgun and you will take enormous damage and die.
Phase 1: -The two waves of Pet Stasis projectiles aren’t aimed at any player, they simply rotate around the Brute. If you stay between them and rotate with them, not only will you not get hit by them but you’ll also most likely dodge the big mossy shots and the rush attack.
-Anything that Slows enemies will make the Warriors considerably less annoying and prevent the Brute from rush attacking and likely instakilling you.
-Don’t stay in one place for too long. If the Brute doesn’t jump on you and shotgun you, the Warriors will. You want to keep the Warriors as far away from you as possible, preferably Paralyzed, Slowed, Stunned, or all 3 at once.
Phase 2: Paralyze or Slow the Warriors so you don’t have to deal with their random movement pattern. The sooner they die, the better.
Phase 3: The Brute will be Armored when it’s vulnerable, so keep those Cwands and Dbows ready for it.
