MegaRototo

MegaRototo is a boss that players can fight in the Candyland Hunting Grounds. It spawns after a certain number of Rototos have been killed.

The Realm Eye says:
Rototos are the only organic species truly native to the Candyland. Their cutesy appearance may not seem authoritative, but they are actually lords of the sugary forest.
Usually content with a life of slumber, they only display their more aggressive traits when they feel their home is threatened.
It is possible that the rare Megarototos played a role in the creation of the Candyland, but they remain an elusive creature and are challenging to study.

Behavior

MegaRototo first sits still while firing a flamethrower-like stream of flame breath bullets that tracks the nearest player. After breathing fire for a bit, it will slowly chase the nearest player while firing radial bursts of Rototo Blasts. After that, it repeats these two attacks.

Throughout the fight, Rototos will circle MegaRototo while firing radial bursts of bullets.

Tips and Strategies

Be careful of his “flame breath”, as getting caught in it for even a second can significantly reduce your health. Also, keep in mind that the Rototos and the Tiny Rototos can dish out a good amount of damage.The Tiny Rototos will circle and gladly take hits for the MegaRototo. If you have a piercing weapon, it is advised to just stand back and dodge bullets, while getting your souldbound damage in. Make sure never to stand on Megarototo because in his phase where he fires Rototo blasts, his shots can deal up to 1200 damage, which is enough to instantly kill most characters. MegaRototo usually stays in one place as a sentry.
