Behavior

The Native Sprite God initially spawns in one of five possible forms at random. In all forms, it will wander in place and maintain its distance.

  • Darkness Form: Keeps its distance, firing 4-shot spreads of decelerating black bullets, alongside aimed stagnating crescents that Silence.
  • Magic Form: Fires shotguns of wavy cyan bolts that fly in a tricky pattern, along with single aimed cyanboomerangs that Silence.
  • Ice Form: Fires rapid bursts of Slowing crescents, alongside cyan Silence crescents fired perpendicular to the original burst.
  • Fire Form: Remains still, firing 4-round shotguns of wavy orange bullets in a clockwise pattern, alongside aimed 3-shot "beams" of Silencing orange crescents.
  • Nature Form: Fires 4-shot spreads of accelerating green bullets along with green Silence crescents that initially fly backwards, but quickly change direction and shoot towards the player.

At 50% HP, the Native Sprite God will briefly go invulnerable and transform into a random new form. It also permanently gains the Armored status from this point on, giving it 18 DEF.

Tips and Strategies

Darkness Form: Only their Silencing Shot includes Aim Tracking, so circling while attack it is a solution. Additionally, you can moving from left to right, right to left while it is shooting you.

Magic Form: Probably the trickiest to dodge of all, they will shoot wavy projectiles in a wide shotgun, so stand a safe distance away and back off when both of the middle bolts intersect.

Fire Form: The only projectiles that you have to worry about are the wavy ones that it fires in a clockwise-motion, which deal damage. Otherwise, you can stand still, as the silencing chains that they shoot deal 0 damage.

Ice Form: The weakest of about all enemies in the Sprite World, if you have more than 10 defense, you can just stand still while firing away. Be careful not to stand too close to him while he changes form, as you might tank a full shotgun of projectiles.

Nature Form: Deadliest of all, it shoots 4 incredibly wide projectiles that do heavy damage after traveling backwards a bit. Circling this enemy is a viable solution, but don’t stand too close behind it, as it’s projectiles travel a bit backwards before firing forward.
