This tome heals less than a T5 tome as well as not applying the healing buff and having a smaller radius, in exchange for the ability to curse enemies within a 5 tile radius. This can increase the DPS of a group if there is no mystic present. There is also no need to worry about accidentally stasising enemies, and it is also possible to curse large group of enemies by standing in the middle.

However, this also has its additional drawbacks. Upon use, the user is also cursed, which decreases survivability, which is already lower because of the weaker heal and no healing. The 5 tile radius also means in order to curse a boss, the priest would need to walk much closer, which further puts the user at risk. The -5 VIT stat bonus doesn’t help much either.

Overall, this tome could see some usage in very niche situations, but other than that, there are usually plenty of better options to choose from.
