Behavior

The boss spawns at the top of the room, which is a pool of Magma with five pedestals in it, one colored after each dragon and one colored white. When activated, he will taunt:
“Thank you adventurer, you have freed the souls of the four dragons so I may consume their powers.”
“I owe you much, but I cannot let you leave. These walls will make a fine graveyard for your bones.”

He then moves on to Phase 1.

Phase 1:

Taunt: “Behold the glory of my true powers…”
The Ivory Wyvern spawns four Mirror Wyverns on the colored pedestals that fire streams of white bullets at the nearest player. The real boss will be moving from pedestal to pedestal, also firing streams of white bullets. Once he has taken enough damage, he will move to Phase 2.

Phase 2:

Taunt: “My magic can no longer sustain my mirrors, what have you done?!”
The Ivory Wyvern despawns the Mirror Wyverns. He still will move between pedestals, but will attack with wide, rapid shotguns of white bullets. Once he takes enough damage, he will move onto Phase 3.

Phase 3:

The Ivory Wyvern becomes invulnerable, becomes stationary on the middle pedestal, and spawns the souls of the four dragons on their respective pedestals. Each soul is stationary and fires constant shotguns of bullets, but each one uses different bullets that inflict different status effects.

  • The Black Soul of Feargus inflicts Quiet for 3 seconds.
  • The Green Soul of Limoz inflicts Slow for 3 seconds.
  • The Blue Soul of Nikao inflicts Weak for 3 seconds.
  • The Red Soul of Pyyr inflicts Bleeding for 3 seconds.
Once all of the Souls have been defeated, the Ivory Wyvern will transition to Phase 4.

    Phase 4:

Taunt: “So you wish to fight your fate? Alright then, I will not hold back any longer.”
Phase 4 is divided into 3 sections.

    Phase 4A

The Ivory Wyvern moves to the center of the room and becomes vulnerable. He then fires 4-directional shotguns of blue, red, black, and green projectiles - one type for each cardinal direction (it is randomized). These are essentially less damaging versions of the bullets used by the souls, as they inflict the same status effects. He will also be firing his own shotguns of white bullets in front of him.
Once he takes enough damage, he will go to 4B.

    Phase 4B

The Ivory Wyvern spawns 4 White Dragon Orbs in the corners of the room which fire omnidirectional waves of red bullets. He will stay in the middle of the room, firing a single aimed white bullet at the nearest player.

    Phase 4C

When his health gets low enough, the Ivory Wyvern will begin to quickly chase nearby players, rapidly firing wide shotguns of white bullets. The White Dragon Orbs are still active during this phase, which will make it more difficult to dodge the Wyvern’s attacks. This phase lasts until death.

    Death

Taunt: “You may have beaten me this time, but I will find a way to leave this place! And on that day, you will suffer greatly…”
The Ivory Wyvern becomes stationary for a few seconds, and then vanishes, leaving a Test Chest behind. Note that the White Dragon Orbs do not despawn until he disappears, meaning that they can still attack you for a moment when he’s dying.

Note that the Ivory Wyvern has the Armored status for all phases except for Phase 2 and 3 (but he is Invulnerable for Phase 3).

    Tips and Strategies

    • When Ivory starts chasing you, try to circle the middle of the room as since if you go to the corner you will lose much health due to the white orbs.

Some players have noted that oddly enough, Ivory Wyvern drops rare reptile eggs at a much higher rate than other dungeon bosses. Whether this is intentional or a coincidence is unconfirmed.
