Parties (Currently under construction) (Rev. 1)

In Realm of the Mad God, players are often required to work together to defeat monsters and complete dungeons. Here are some party suggestions. For every class, it is highly recommended to have a 1 or 2 healers (Priest, Necromancer) in a party of 5 players. A tank class, most preferably a knight, to tank in shots (after all, no one likes to take damage!). Buff or status classes, such as: Archer (paralyze or slow), Mystic (stasis), Paladin (Damaging, Healing, Hp increase). And finally, crowd control: Archer, Sorcerer, Assassin, and Huntress. In certain aspects of the game, a support class such as Trickster will be very crucial.

Party ratings

In this page, I will introduce a rating system based on the classes in a party.

Rogue

In any party, the rogue has almost no value as a team player, other than its ability to rush dungeons. Having a rogue will also hinder the effectiveness in groups, such as the Shatters. In other words, the rogue has a 0.5 party rating

Priest

The priest, the all-around universal healer of RotMG, is highly valued as a member. With his tome, he can keep his party members alive and healthy. He provides the status effect Healing, which increases regeneration, increasing his value and rating. With other special tomes, such as the UT Tome of Purification or the Tome of Holy Protection, his effectiveness will rise and fit every want and need of his fellow friends. His wand also provides decent crowd control, piercing through bosses surrounded by minions. The Priest receives a 2.5 party rating.
