Pumpkin King

Last updated: Exalt Version 1.6.1.1 (June 2021)

Everyone hail to the pumpkin song! But don’t even think about calling him Jack.

The Pumpkin King is the third boss of the Haunted Cemetery, appearing during the fifth round of the third level of the dungeon, the Haunted Cemetery Crypt.

The Realm Eye says:
Contrary to what you might reasonably expect, there is absolutely no relation between the Pumpkin King and the Pumpkin Master.
Though the Pumpkin King fancies himself a king over a rather inconsequential matter, he is arguably more sane than the Pumpkin Master.
Quite a misfit among most of the graveyard’s residents, although some say he was there before any others. For unclear reasons, he despises being called the Pumpking.

Behavior

The Pumpkin King initially spawns at the top of the arena. He immediately moves to the center of the arena and spawns four Jack-o’-lanturns that fire Dazing shots at players. He himself will be chasing players, firing spreads of yellow bullets and pairs of wavy orange waves.

The Pumpkin King cannot be harmed until all Jack-o’-lanturns have been killed. Once there are no more left, he becomes vulnerable and starts chasing and shooting faster, while switching his previous orange wave attack with one that uses a wavier, more staff-like pattern. He will also spawn more Jack-o’-lanturns, although he will still be vulnerable no matter how many are alive.

Tips and Strategies

Players with low defense should watch out for the boomeranging quiet shots. Standing on the spot where they converge might deal a large amount of damage.
As he tries to circle you, it may be effective to push him against a wall to make him easier to hit.
