RIFTS - Infestation

Infestation is the third RIFTS season and was available from November 14, 2019 to November 21, 2019. It introduces the Mad Pass for the first time, allowing players to buy it and hold on to it to obtain more/better rewards in Original mode for completing the quests during the RIFTS season. The theme of this season is that enemies in the Oryx dungeon series are infested by parasites, similar to the ones from Parasite Chambers.

Seasonal Rifts Changes

  • Oryx’s Castle, Oryx’s Chamber and Wine Cellar have been remixed to feature Parasite enemies, exploding barrels and modified attacks.
  • Parasite enemies can now rarely be found within the mountains.

Following changes have been made to drop rates and items:

  • Drop rates of mana and life from Trench and Tomb respectively have been increased
  • Drop rates of tiered items from quest monsters, dungeon bosses, encounters and mountains gods has been doubled
  • Drop rates of UTs from dungeon bosses has been increased
  • Drop rates of UTs from encounters has been significantly increased
  • Mark of Oryx drops from Oryx the Mad God 2 instead of Oryx the Mad God 1
  • Eggs now only drop from dungeon bosses and encounters
  • Egg rates has been significantly increased for dungeon bosses and encounters
  • Only common and uncommon eggs are available as drops
  • Pet food has been added to the drop tables of dungeon bosses and encounters
  • All items but pet food now have 0 feed power

  • Skull Shrine: Skull of Endless Torment
  • Cube God: Midnight Star
  • Pentaract: Celestial Blade
  • Ghost Ship: Ronin’s Wakizashi
  • Nightmare Colony: Potion of Attack and Defense replaces usual potion drops
  • Oryx the Mad God 1: Ancient Stone Sword, Potion of Mana replaces usual potion drops
  • Oryx the Mad God 2: Potion of Life replaces usual potion drops
