The Saint Patrick’s Day Weapons (also sometimes called Leprechaun Weapons, or Rainbow Weapons, or Patrick’s Weapons/Paddy’s Weapons) are limited availability untiered weapons, themed on the cultural and religious celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day, the 17th of March.
They each have a 4% or 5% XP bonus and 100 feed power, and are typically viewed as vanity items due to their low damage.
History
The first two items of the set, Clover Bow and Sword of the Rainbow’s End, were released in Patch 27.7.X11.1 (Mar 2017) in the new Rainbow Road dungeon. They originally had 400 feed power.
The Katana of Good Fortune was added to Rainbow Road for the March 2019 event (along with the ability item Clover Star), and the feed power of the bow and sword were reduced to 100 to match the katana. The sword and bow were also added to the Dungeon Leprechaun for that year’s event.
The weapon set was completed in March 2020, with Prismatic Slasher, Rainbow Rod and Staff of the Saint (as well as the Huntress ability item Painbow), all available through Rainbow Road, and all the new items also could be looted from the Yellow Leprechaun bonus enemy. Special event Tinkerer quests gave another route to obtain the items released in previous years.
Before Exalt Version 2.0.0.0 (Aug 2021), these items were soulbound.
