This robe has +15 defense, giving it 2 more defense points than the Robe of the Grand Sorcerer and the Robe of the Mad Scientist. Additionally, it grants a health bonus of +25 and a vitality bonus of +7. These all give the wearer some very powerful defensive bonuses, while sacrificing the aforementioned other robes’ +4 attack bonus. This is overall a very safe choice, very similar to the Soulless Robe. It shines on Priest and Mystic or even Sorcerer over Soulless due to those classes’ wis modifiers and is also great on Wizards, which could use more def and don’t really need much more Mana, if any.
