Does not attack.
Shunned Prophet Gnarus has a chance to appear in a seemingly random spot in the Derelict Village. When approached, he will wander about while responding with a few lines of dialogue.
“Come for me at last, have you?!”
“…Ohhhh ho hoh, is this not an exciting twist? You’re not mad, at least by the looks of you. And not hailing from this land either, I take it?”
“Forgive me, I ought to have curbed my tongue, as usual.”
Gnarus will then say one of the following dialogues at random:
”Look at this rot, now honestly. Does it look like I belong here?”
“Oh please, do spare your breath. I wouldn’t dare wish to waste your energy before that flagrant two-face drains the rest himself.
“Just…leave me be. I haven’t the strength nor will to entertain.”
“Your presence suggests you aren’t the kind to heed warnings, yea? Suppose you’d have been no better.”
“But perhaps that brashness goes both ways. You won’t get far around here with persuasive words, not without a silver tongue and disdain for reality.”
“Eeehhhh heh…that was true even when this heap was still ostensibly wise. Who am I to bemoan the point further?”
“After all, what good is foresight when all seems well through the narrowest of lenses?”
“Have you come in search of an audience with His Lowness? Hmph, you’d have better luck talking sense into the dreck out here.”
“Then again, I see myself in no position to judge. Hehhh…why they all kissed the earth he walked upon is beyond even my understanding.”
“Stubborn to the end, and worse than that, ignorant! But I suppose a shiny hat masks quite a bit, hm?”
“Deserved every last bit of this, I tell you.”
If he says the first set of dialogue (“…Does it look like I belong here?”), players can prompt extra lines from him by quickly replying to his question with “yes” or “no”.
If the player replied “No”
”Well, isn’t that something. You may as well be the first to feel that way.”
“If you do somehow weasel your way behind the castle walls, do share your thoughts with my sordid former compatriots, will you?”
“Unbreaking, everlasting, they declared…what a farce.”
If the player replied “Yes”
”…Eh heh, you really are just like the rest of them.”
“All the prescience in the world, for a fate no one cares to avert…”
After he finishes all of his dialogue, he will wander seemingly aimlessly, and cannot be interacted with any further.
