Its damage per shot is equal to that of the Staff of Destruction, but its increased fire rate makes its DPS in between the Staff of Horror and the Staff of Necrotic Arcana, against an enemy with either 0 or more than 60 defense.

It is useful as a feeding item for a pet as its feed power of 320 is greater than the feed power of t5 rings and t11 weapons.
