Patrols around the Derelict Village, periodically stopping to rest. It follows set patrol paths and is restricted to a certain area that varies depending on the map layout. Upon detecting a nearby player, it will flash and chase after them, alternating between several extremely powerful attacks. It will flash blue in between attacks.
The Stone Idol is completely Invulnerable and normally can’t be harmed by any means, and can also pass through any obstructing terrain and ignore tile collision. The only option when encountering it is to flee, although it will slow down after chasing for a while, will give up if the target strays too far, and generally won’t chase players unless closely approached. In addition, it will never attempt to enter the Great Bridge, flashing and falling back if its target enters first.
If the Void Phantasm was found and activated in the Derelict Village, it will eventually retreat to the Stone Idol and start circling it while attacking. Defeating the Void Phantasm while it is circling will cause the Stone Idol to absorb it and flash purple, turning into a psuedo-Accursed variant of itself.
In the Accursed state, the Stone Idol’s attacks become purple and more damaging, but the Idol will lose its invulnerability and become damageable. Destroying the Stone Idol in this state will activate the “Hard Mode” of the Shatters, modifying the fight against The Bridge Sentinel.
None.
Attacks have no effect on this behemoth, and staying as its target for a prolonged amount of time is a death sentence due to its massive damage output and wide-reaching attacks. Your only option is to run from it if it sees you, as it will lose interest if you run far enough. While running, avoid the red Sentinel Blasts at all costs, as they inflict Petrify.
If you see the Stone Idol, keep in mind that its detection range is smaller than one might expect - just because you can see it doesn’t mean it can necessarily see you. Players have an opportunity to flee before it catches on to their presence, and it’s possible to sneak around it if one is careful.
