Behavior

Phase 1 (Sleeping Phase)
The Sumo Master remains still and appears to be sleeping. In this state, he is harmless.

Upon damage, he will transition to Phase 2.

Phase 2
The Sumo Master appears to awaken, spawning several Lil Sumos which will rotate around him. After a few seconds, he will start slowly wandering around, occasionally firing a few red projectiles at the nearest player.

Once reaching about half of his health, he will transition to Phase 3.

Phase 3
The Sumo Master taunts Engaging Super-Mode! and will start to wander much faster. Any remaining Lil Sumos will stop rotating around the Sumo Master and will instead attack the player.

On occasion, he will rush at the nearest player while firing a quick burst of yellow projectiles.

This phase lasts until death.

Tips and Strategies

The Sumo Master, along with his minions, is a good source of health and magic potions.

Although he doesn’t drop any weapons, he drops decent armor for the Lowlands area.
