The Forgotten Crown, or more commonly referred to as Crown, is one of the strongest DPS-increasing items in the game (tied with the Magical Lodestone), and a direct upgrade from the Captain’s Ring, providing a large +12 to offensive stats. It also provides a decent amount of HP, increasing survivability alongside DPS. If any character can afford lowered defenses for a very high DPS boost, or they would otherwise be using a pure HP ring anyway, they should use the Crown.
