The Forgotten Ring can be seen as a DPS oriented counterpart to the Twilight Gemstone, trading some MP and the SPD bonus for a large 7 DEX. It can be used on MP reliant classes like the priest and assassin whilst making up for their low firepower.

This item was first made available thorugh The Alchemist and was later added as a drop.

History:
This item used to drop in a cyan bag before the addition of orange bags in Patch X.18.0 Halloween Madness. The original stats of the item were a paltry +10 HP and +5 MP, which made it one of the weakest rings in the game, even below that of Tier 1 rings.
Patch X.20.0 gifted this ring the stat bonuses from the Ancient Spell: Pierce, bringing it up to 20 HP, 10 MP, 3 attack, and 2 defense, essentially making it a much weaker Bracer of the Guardian. These stats are now only on the Legacy version of this ring.
