    A unique tome that offers no direct party heal, only granting a slightly shorter Healing effect in a slightly larger radius. Its main draw is the Darkness Orb it summons, which slowly circles in place - either clockwise or counterclockwise - and “zaps” nearby enemies for 350 damage every 0.4 seconds, for a total of 5,250 damage. This grants Priest an immense DPS boost, though primarily against less mobile targets. In addition, the Orb can only target a single enemy at once, making it less effective than the Tome of Pain at clearing through weaker enemies.

    The Holy Orb is the main way of restoring health with this tome. Similarly, the Orb circles in place and “zaps” allies, akin to the Tome of the Mushroom Tribes. While it loses out on 15 health per zap, healing 60 instead of 75, it heals at a much greater frequency, healing every 0.6 seconds. The total heal per orb is also greater at 600 compared to the Mushroom Tribes’ 225.

    In addition, its health requirement makes it tough to consistently spawn the Orb when in a group, and it may not restore enough health fast enough in a pinch - unlike a tiered Tome may. The cooldown on the Orbs also makes them somewhat unreliable, especially in emergency situations.

    Note that the “cooldown” is exclusive to summoning the Orbs, meaning that it is possible to switch to another Tome and use it immediately after spawning an Orb. Combining this Tome with either the Tome of Holy Furor or Ceremonial Merlot can allow Priests to dish out a good amount of damage, even on their own.

    Trivia
    An earlier, unreleased version of the Tome had a different effect when at low health, granting a large self-heal instead of spawning a Holy Orb.
