Notes
The Wakizashi of Crossing Fires is to be considered a polar opposite to the Wakizashi of Eastern Winds, focusing much more heavily on dealing massive damage over reliably inflicting debuffs.

This wakizashi is highly damaging, able to surpass the strength of a T5 Magic Nova Spell and giving the samurai far greater damage output than before. Additionally, the crossing fire’s projectiles are fired from both sides of the cursor and coverge on each other into a pincer formation that enables accurate placement of the projectiles to deal massive damage. It also comes with an increase to ATT and VIT, which enhances the samurai’s offensive power and recovery speed.

However, as with any UT this wakizashi is not without drawbacks. Firstly, it costs 20 extra mana compared to a tiered wakizashi or the wakizashi of eastern winds, which limits the number of times it can be cast in succession. Secondly, this wakizashi has a reduced maximum casting range of only 4 tiles, which is .4 less than a tiered wakizashi and .6 less than the Wakizashi of the Eastern Winds. This forces the samurai wielding it to get closer to an enemy in order to deal its damage. Additionally, because the shots come in from either side at a slight angle, rather than perpendicular to your aim like a tiered wakizashi, only enemies at the center of your aim are likely to be hit by the full four shots of this ability, making this wakizashi slightly less useful against large groups of enemies.

Additionally, the crossing fires inflicts the Exposed debuff for only 3 seconds, .5 seconds shorter than the Royal Wakizashi, and 1.5 seconds shorter than the Eastern Winds. Despite this however, the ability to deal large amounts of damage very quickly makes the shortened exposed duration less detrimental. This remains, however, not a wakizashi designed for reliable infliction of Exposed, and should not be used if you wish to get the most duration of exposure out of your mana.
