Notes: These are kind of like the little floating projectiles fired by sandsman sorcerers, clockwork golems, and Red Demons. They float around lazily in a figure-eight pattern and last a very long time. You can’t shoot them at something; you basically need to create a minefield with them and attract your prey into the field. Back pedaling is key using this wand, but it is well worth it as the shots deal colossal damage. Feel free to then collect your stat increase potion. This wand can work well on the Rock Dragon, as it is difficult to accurately hit this monstrosity. It can be better to use your Wand of the Bulwark’s lazy shots to destroy it instead.

However, this wand is not effective on static enemies such as the Skull Shrine, as they cannot be lured into your fire. Attacking these enemies with this wand is highly dangerous unless it cannot attack, or unless you’re a priest using a Tome of Holy Protection.

One place this wand excels at is the Haunted Cemetery. Between waves of enemies, stand in the center of the room & fire as many shots as you can. Once the enemies spawn & run toward you, they’ll take LOTS of damage trying to reach you & possibly even die if they hit enough Bulwark shots.

Aiming: (all numbers are approximate) The wand will shoot its bullets in 4 different directions. The first shot will be shot at a 315° angle to the mouse. The second shot will fire at a 135° angle. The third shot will fire at a 45° angle, and the fourth shot will fire at a 225° angle. It will then repeat from the first shot. To shoot the bullets in a generally straight direction (not fully straight, because the bullets still float around in a figure-eight), you will have to criss-cross your mouse around your character, as shown in this poorly-drawn diagram.
